Sputnik Stool

A sculptural note in wood — where past and future meet in harmony.

Description:
The Sputnik Stool captures the rhythm of an era defined by discovery. Inspired by the space race and the futuristic energy of ’60s sci‑fi, its design plays with contrast — melding nostalgia with modern materials, much like a classic melody reimagined for a new audience.

Crafted from elm and maple, the stool carries the warmth of natural wood, shaped by hand so that each curve follows its own grain. A distinctive epoxy resin surface contrasts with the warm grain, celebrating both tradition and innovation. No two stools are exactly alike — each one carries its own voice.

Its form is steady yet dynamic, a note sustained in a melody. The Sputnik Stool is made to sit comfortably in a home, a studio, or a bar; to be both a functional seat and a statement of craft and curiosity.
